Recycling and Removing Oil Residues
Our commitment to environmental sustainability is evident in our advanced recycling processes. One of the key areas where we have made significant strides is in the recycling and removal of oil residues from our operations. Used oils from our metalworking processes are systematically collected and treated to minimize environmental impact. This recycling effort not only reduces waste but also ensures that hazardous materials are handled responsibly, contributing to a cleaner, safer workplace and community.

Chip Press for Oil Extraction and Improved Logistics
In our continuous effort to enhance sustainability, we have recently purchased a cutting-edge chip press from Industrie Associate srl (Indaas). This machine plays a crucial role in our chip processing operations by draining excess oil from metal shavings and compressing them into more manageable forms. The press significantly improves the logistics of handling metal shavings by reducing their volume, making transportation and storage more efficient.
The chip press is part of a modular swarf treatment system that includes crushers, centrifuges, and conveyors, each designed to enhance productivity and environmental efficiency.
Crushers drastically reduce chip volume and automatically eject any pieces found in the chips. Centrifuges separate coolant from short chips, allowing up to 99% recovery of lubricants. Briquetting machines compact metal chips into high-density briquettes, which can be directly melted, further reducing waste and enhancing recycling efficiency.
These systems not only streamline operations but also offer numerous advantages:
- Significant volume reduction
- High coolant recovery rates
- Increased value of swarf
- Short return on investment through the sale of briquettes
- Lower storage, transport, and handling costs
- Environmentally friendly operations
Moreover, the use of conveyors ensures safe and efficient collection and transportation of chips and coolant directly from the machines, eliminating the need for manual handling and enhancing operator safety.
By owning the ISO 14001:2015 certificate, Euroexport GB demonstrates our commitment to environmental stewardship, sustainability, and responsible business practices. We continuously monitor and evaluate our environmental performance to drive positive change and contribute to a greener future.
